WELCOME TO THE NORTHWEST LOST ART & MUSIC FOUNDATION SPRING 2025 AUCTION.

This auction helps fund our work to document, preserve, and archive Northwest music history that might otherwise be lost. We’re offering items specifically related to Northwest music and pop culture, as well as a few things that are more “general interest.” Have a look around. Bid if you can.

This auction is also the roll-out of our new website which will be going live in April. It features Northwest music history, reviews of past music releases, video, radio, and an interactive comment/post forum. All of this is topped off with our online record store, where we’re making high-quality out-of-print and hard-to-find music releases by Northwest artists. We’re currently working on documenting and archiving music releases by Northwest artists as far back as the 1930s. This includes release details, credits, and artwork. All of it is going into a database that will become publicly accessible later in 2025. Our next album release – hopefully in July – will be by the early 1980s Seattle band, The Spectators. This is a collection of songs recorded in 1981 that are being restored and remastered. Our work on both Three Swimmers and The Visible Targets retrospective albums is ongoing. We hope to have at least one of these projects completed this Fall. We’re also working on a multi-volume collection of Northwest music. The first will be available online for streaming and download soon. The next item on our agenda is putting together a comprehensive overview of 1960s Northwest Psychedelia. Leave your email address to receive updates on our website. If nothing in our auction interests but you’d like to make a small donation, we’ve added an easy way to do it. We’d also love to hear about anything related to Northwest music history.
