Next Year’s Love is an all-woman band from  Shanghai China. The  trio consists of Super Sophia on synth and keyboard, Vic on bass, and guitarist F. This is lo-fi, simple, and immediate. The songs are catchy and adheres to the D.I.Y. post-punk ethic that always pushes less proficient  artists to put “heart” into their projects. Not too many indie bands have made it out of China, so kudos to Next Years Love. Kudos also to producer Brad Ferguson who captured the recordings in Shanghai.
