On the 19th of October 2005, Seattle’s Crocodile Cafe hosted the most unlikely supergroup of the 21st century. Robert Fripp (King Crimson, Bowie), legendary French avant-garde artist Hector Zazou, Peter Buck (R.E.M.,) and hometown heroes Matt Chamberlain (Pearl Jam) Fred Chalenor (The Walkabouts/The Beakers/Three Swimmers) and Bill Rieflin (The Blackouts/Ministry/R.E.M./King Crimson) joined forces to present what the L.A. Times called “individualists seeking a mind-meld wrought from patience and meticulous attention.” This is is an incredible live performance of what went down that night.
